Continuing Education Credits

University of Michigan Health Nursing Professional Development & Education is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Up to 14.5 NCPD nursing contact hours will be provided based on attendance. Nursing credit certificates will be distributed through the online process only; email addresses are required.

Application for EMS credits has been submitted to include credits for all levels. Participants are required to attend the entire session and complete a program evaluation.

Accommodations & Location

There are a variety of room accommodations available, from a basic room to suites. Mention the Survival Flight conference when making reservations to get a special discount rate for Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday nights. Indoor pools, recreation, and fitness room, as well as local shopping and Birch Run, are close by. 

Room reservations must be made by October 10, 2026, to guarantee a room.

Any room cancellations need to be made 72 hours in advance, or no refund will be issued.

From Detroit: 86 miles I-75 North to Exit 136*
From Ann Arbor: 80 miles US 23 North to I-75 North to Exit 136*

*From Exit 136: East toward Frankenmuth - two miles. At the stoplight, turn left onto Gera Road (M-83). M-83 turns into Main Street in Frankenmuth.

Cancellations received after October 16th will be charged a $10.00 fee. There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations made after October 31st. Substitutions are welcome.
