    Course Description

    The Strong Roots Parent Cafe Training is an interactive, experiential training introducing the Strong Roots Parent Cafe model, preparing and certifying participants to host Strong Roots Parent Cafes in their community. This training also certifies participants to host Be Strong Families cafes in their community.

    The registration fee for this training is $850/person. In addition to attending the training, this fee also includes:

    • Strong Roots Parent Cafe Manual (physical manual and digital access) and Card Deck
    • Up to 5 hours per agency of technical assistance with a Strong Roots Program Manager
    • Certificate of completion upon successful training completion
    • Participants will receive materials during the training to support learning and engagement
    • The Be Strong Families Parent Cafe Manual and Card Deck are not included in this registration fee. Please visit their website to obtain these materials if interested in hosting Be Strong Families Parent Cafes.

    Format: In-Person 

    Attendance: Full attendance is expected to receive a certificate.

    What to Expect: This is an interactive, relational training. Participants will be invited to engage through discussion, reflection, and experiential activities. Additional details and expectations will be shared on the first day of training.
