Course Description

The Strong Roots Perinatal DBT Training prepares mental health providers and professionals who support parents and families in the perinatal period (pregnancy-2 years postpartum) to facilitate the Strong Roots Perinatal DBT group curriculum, and integrate Strong Roots concepts into individual practice.
This interactive, experiential training introduces the Strong Roots Perinatal DBT, core concepts, and group curriculum, preparing participants for use in both group and individual settings.
The registration fee for this training is $1,250/person. In addition to attending the training, this fee also includes:
- Digital access to the Strong Roots Perinatal DBT curriculum and supplemental materials, implementation resources, and materials to support learning during training
- Up to 5 hours per agency of implementation support
- Certificate of completion
- Social Work CEUs
Format: Virtual, live training
Technology Requirements: Reliable internet connection and a device with audio and video capabilities for interactive portions of the training.
Attendance: Full attendance is expected to receive a certificate. Flexible options are available to make up for missed content if needed.
What to Expect: This is an interactive, relational training. Participants will be invited to engage through discussion, reflection, and experiential activities. Some portions of the training will encourage camera use to support connection, while others will be more flexible.
